On a bi-weekly basis New Hope conducts Sunday morning services at Bay Berry Nursing Home. Singing, praying, and preaching is the mainstay of the service. Many have come to know the Lord through this ministry and the room is always filled with the faithful and a regular stream of first-time visitors. Church members are always welcome to join in this ministry of encouragement and understanding.
Each Sunday evening a Bible study is offered by David Calderwood, who has the distinction of being a resident at the Nursing Home and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. After sitting through the Sunday service he then attends regularly attends the worship services each Sunday morning and leds the Sunday evening Bible study at the Nursing Home.
Our church seniors can also be seen regularly visiting residents and organizing sing-alongs.
